Switching gears, the topic of "Cancelling Halloween"? Yes, believe it or not, some towns are working to end the tradition.


With the resurgence of "classic" films being shown in modern cinemas, are they handling the process wrong? Rob shares his account of a recent venture to the movies. Did you see Frankenstein plus The Bride of Frankenstein or Halloween? Let us know what you thought.

On this part, Dave opens the show with a detailed look at the Universal Monsters Blu Ray set, the UK version. Dave shifts gears and discusses the 3-D look of the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

MONSTER-MANIA  RADIO INVADES THE AIRWAVES!



This FRIDAY THE 13th a new killer slashes its way through the horror campgrounds as MONSTER-MANIA RADIO hits the airwaves via podcast at 8AM EST.  The weekly hour long podcasts will cover horror media news, celebrity interviews and horror convention updates.  A new episode will be available each week on Friday morning via a link on the www.monstermania.net webpage as well as download via iTunes and Stitcher Radio starting Friday, July 13th.

MONSTER-MANIA RADIO is the latest extension of the MONSTER-MANIA brand that includes MONSTER-MANIA CON, the largest horror convention in North America which takes place in Cherry Hill, NJ with other shows near Baltimore, MD and Hartford, CT and also MONSTER-MANIA MAGAZINE. 

Dave Hagan, founder of the MONSTER-MANIA said, “I’m very excited for the opportunity to be able to connect with horror fans on a more regular basis by doing a weekly radio podcast.  I’ve long been a fan of horror radio and it’s truly an honor to be involved in a medium that I have always enjoyed so much.  MONSTER-MANIA RADIO will really give fans a look at what is going on in the world of horror and also provide a glimpse behind the curtain of what is happening in the horror convention world.”

Dave has been involved with the horror field for nearly twenty years as a host for Q&A sessions for MONSTER-MANIA CON and other shows as well as formerly writing for horror film magazines and running one of the first online horror collectibles companies. 

Co-hosting the show will be Rob Dimension, a former Horror Host from the Philadelphia region, as co-host of "Late Night at the Horror Hotel". The former Professional Wrestling Manager and promoter is no stranger to podcasting, he can be heard each week on the widely popular "Extreme Odd Couple Podcast" with former ECW World Champion Steve Corino. Rob has been the auctioneer for the Save-A-Yorkie Auction that MONSTER-MANIA CON holds each show, helping raise money for the charity. Dimension has also been host to several of the MONSTER-MANIA CON Q&A sessions in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Rob is an actor and soon to be director for his own short film "No Clowning Around" due out after Halloween.

MONSTER-MANIA RADIO will launch on Friday, July 13th. A new episode will be available each Friday morning via a link on the www.monstermania.net webpage as well as download via iTunes and Stitcher Radio.
